April Jordan

MSW, RSW

Founder/Director

I'm a mental health professional with over 20 years of experience, having worked across both acute and community settings and a strong advocate for accessible, quality mental health care in rural communities. My approach is grounded in the belief that therapy isn't about fixing but about understanding... working together with individuals and families to make sense of experiences, strengthen coping, and foster resilience through life's challenges.

I'm a Registered Social Worker with over 20 years of experience in the field of mental health. I hold both a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Clinical Social Work, along with an undergraduate degree in Psychology. It's a true privilege to walk alongside individuals and families on their journeys, and I work hard to build trusting, collaborative relationships rooted in compassion, respect, and authenticity.

Leigh Van Rootselaar

MSW, RSW

My practice is rooted in warmth, curiosity, and care as I support older teens and adults who are exploring their identity, navigating life's challenges, deepening relationships, and learning how to thrive. I strive to create a gentle and engaging therapeutic space where you can feel safe enough to be vulnerable, seen, and truly understood.

Chris Sullivan

MSW, RSW

I believe that therapy is less about fixing what's broken and more about getting to the heart of what truly matters. I see the therapeutic relationship as the foundation for meaningful change... it's what helps clients feel safe, stay engaged, and get the most out of their time in therapy.

"Without relationship, there is no influence." – Unknown

I first came across this quote taped above my supervisor's desk during my Master of Social Work practicum, and it has guided my practice ever since. I approach every client relationship with curiosity, acceptance, and non-judgment. My belief in your innate capacity for healing grounds the work we do together... I am here to walk alongside you as a witness and guide through life's challenges.

Lisa Rakai

MSLP, R.SLP, S-LP(C)

I am a highly experienced Speech-Language Pathologist with more than 15 years of clinical practice supporting children, adolescents, and adults with diverse and complex communication needs. I am committed to evidence-based, neuro-affirmative, and family-centred care, with clinical expertise spanning social communication, phonological awareness, and childhood apraxia of speech (CAS). My work reflects a comprehensive approach that views communication within the broader context of relationships, emotional well-being, and day-to-day environments...not as a skill developed in isolation.
